Coronavirus and working with us

In these worrying times, we know you’ll be doing the best you can to carry on and we’re with you. At such a challenging time we don’t want your home to be a cause for concern. We want it to be your safe haven.

As such, we’re taking our responsibilities to respond to coronavirus (Covid-19) seriously.

Looking after our clients and our workforce is our number one priority, which is why we’ve looked at advice from the government and implemented the following:

In our office

We’ve completed certificated training from our HR company.
We’re keeping up to date with the government guidelines and taking particular care with hygiene in the office. For example, we’re wiping door handles, desks, phones and equipment at least twice a day, adding sterilising fluid to hand washing up and using contactless deliveries, as well as some of our team working from home.

On our sites

LMB Group are adding portaloos to our forthcoming builds providing handwashing facilities, soap and disposable towels to our teams. Shoe covers are used where necessary. Regular reminders of how to protect yourself and when to self-isolate are also being sent to our teams. As much as we love our clients, contact with them and their families is minimalised as access to the build is through the scaffolding rather than the property. Sites are left watertight and secure at the end of each day. Roofs are not being removed until materials are on site. In the event of a further government lockdown and there is an emergency on site, we do have full coverage protective suits.

With our suppliers

We’ve checked stock levels with our regular suppliers. Most are UK suppliers and lead times have remained consistent. Most deliveries are contactless and will continue to be so. Our contractors carry antibacterial wipes and gel and tissues.

On consultation

We still keen to meet our clients and talk through your requirements. We won’t cancel your appointment unless there is reason to do so. Lee and Ricki continue to remove their shoes as a matter of course. They come prepared with antibacterial wipes (used before and after each appointment), boxes of tissues and observe social distancing.
We ask that you rearrange your appointment to a more suitable time if you or anyone in your household have Covid-19 symptoms. Should you or your family be self-isolating, please call the office to advise us and make alternative arrangements.

In the event of a further government lockdown, if you have an appointment booked you won’t need to cancel. We’ll contact you to rearrange an alternative appointment.
