Dormer Conversion

As the most common form of loft conversion, a dormer conversion uses a vertical roof extension to create additional headroom within the property and remains one of the most popular conversion styles for Wimbledon-based homes. An additional benefit of building such a conversion is that it does not necessarily require planning permission. L-Shaped Dormer Conversion

You may wonder whether, if you live in a smaller home that a loft conversion may not be possible. But the L-shaped dormer conversion is ideal for mid-terraced houses as it combines two dormer extensions which join together to form an L-shape. Depending on the size of your Wimbledon property, an L-shaped dormer can add anything between 20sqm-50sqm, giving a great deal of extra floor space as well as plenty of eaves storage.

Hip-to-Gable Conversion

A hip-to-gable conversion is a great option for bungalows, detached or semi-detached properties – and is an ideal fit for customers with 1930s properties – good news for Wimbledon residents where this style of house is widely available.
