Expanding your existing home is often far more cost-effective than moving to a bigger one, which is exactly what this couple in Redhill discovered.

Looking to generate more space for their growing family, they called on LMB to create an impressive master bedroom, wet room and walk-in wardrobe in the loft of their 1930s semi-detached property.

As space was the name of the game here, we were careful to ensure that the staircase we built did not take up existing floor space in the rooms below.

Aesthetic considerations were also made to match the existing design and style of the home, including making sure that the glass in the gable wall window over the staircase was tinted exactly the same as the window below it on the first floor landing.
