With the homeowner’s children in the local school, the preference was to extend the property rather than move.

With talk of adding a conservation area nearby, LMB got a permitted development of 50 cubic metres, putting in an L-shaped mansard roof (with real slate) that housed 2 bedrooms and a separate shower room over the course of 8-9 weeks.
