The owners of this 1930s semi-detached property in South Croydon came to LMB seeking advice as to the best way to utilise their available space under permitted development regulations.

The couple were looking to create a new master bedroom with shower room, perhaps to give them space away from their teenage kids!

After a full survey of the home, LMB suggested the conversion work that would fully maximise the available space. The couple agreed, and a full hip to gable and rear table top dormer were created to form the bedroom and shower area.

As the nature of this work was fairly extensive, it necessitated a complete re-roofing of the property, with our team laying clay tiles across the new roof.
